Still on Season’s Eatings Mode in February 2020
I know, I know, I’m still on about Season’s Eatings. *hihi

With Uncle Hosein at his “new gig”. =)
I maintain that I only need a fab spread of munchables to forget, at least for the duration of a meal time, that it’s a regular day. \m/
Brace yourself for quite a lengthy scroll in this menus feature, fellow foodies, for there are a lot of updates to the Baguio food scene I’d like to show you.
Menus
Newly Checked Off
1.) Avocadoria
Are you an avocado eater? I’m not much of one. If you’re like me, you might like the fruit in the soft serve. =D
2.) Blak n Wyte
Who knew there would be such an artsy “sweets archipelago of the north” such as this in Diego Silang Street. Race and I stopped by to pick up our cream cheese sans rival and egg pie orders when I realized, this was the place that serves black pasta (I’ll say black pasta for now, since I’m not sure if they used squid ink or activated charcoal in that or none at all). You bet, we checked that off our to-try list right there and then. (An awe inspiring pasta from the look of it; pretty good, too … No squid ink or charcoal flavors detected so far. ^^,)
3.) Burger King
BK Baguio is finally open.
4.) Generosa Cafe at Casa Generosa
5.) Gringo
That’s some delicious chicken … and lemon/hot sauces so zingy tasty, I wanted to drink it. =)))
6.) King Shawarma
I wondered and wondered where Amo Hosein could be, whenever we passed by their hole in the wall in New Lucban and I didn’t see him. This is where he is now … teamed up with Iranian friends to provide Baguio (and its visitors, at Lourdes Grotto in particular), “the taste of Middle East”. They’re on soft opening mode at the moment so their menu is subject to a lot of changes. The Turkish doner and the shawarma we took home from their shop … *fingertip kiss. Let’s keep an eye on their Facebook page to see any new delectable food stuff they’ll add to their menu as they get settled.
7.) Noob Cafe
*nomnomnom the pasta selections from their All You Can Eat pasta, and chicken lollipop and wings offering (P249).

Fremantle Pizzeria
Fremantle Pizzeria, Baguio’s newest source of brick-oven pizza … and more, is a delivery service or pick up food source at the moment. It’s only a matter of time though, since they already have an actual restaurant. Fab pastas and pizzas, most definitely.

What a mouthful of a name right? *tahaha
Lahat na, Ahmad Cafe offers.
After tasting their chicken tandoori pizza, I’ll say, we do have a great contender in Ahmad’s pizza.
I’m saving up to get the beef kebab roll pizza next time. (Yiiiiis, that’s going to take some time. Anyone want to buy a kidney? Joke, joke!)

3.) Craft 1945
Currently, this Craft Brewery x Casa Marcos tandem also has a Lunch Set promo. For P350, your lunchtime is covered with mini pandesal a la dinner rolls, while your meal is being prepared, mushroom soup for starters, rice, one viand, and iced tea. (Albondigas, lengua sapicao, gambas, tips a la pobre, or Spanish sisig are your choices for ulam). This is available everyday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. =)
4.) Dalikan Food Terminal
As you know, this is just Dalikan‘s menu of the day. Chef Harry does mix things up depending on what strikes his fancy to serve on a given day.
Whatever X+1 comes upon at the food terminal that is my favorite resto for Cordilleran cuisine, be it etag, dinawis pork, silet, we’re going to eat it heartily.
5.) Don Henrico’s Pizza, Pasta and More
It has been a looooong time since I’ve been to Don Hen. Got us their latest menu when we popped in for their brick-sized tiramisu. (“,)
6.) Grill Station by Kadis
We were a bit late for beef caldereta at Kadis on Assumption, so we made a beeline for Grill Station.
Dinner, all of a sudden, became fancy when we were given a taste of their Pacific lobster boodle. Thank you, Mommy Two!
7.) Maeve Cafe and Crafts
February is the cafe’s birth month. It’s such a cause for celebration, that Maeve has a handful of promos going on this month. =]

What sorcery is this? How did DJ manage a crunchy sugar crystals feel to his thick custard pie? Whoa!
3.) La Rose Noire Inc. through Sweet Bakes & Bites Baguio

Dainty treats (Macarons, le tartes passion, mini cheesecakes, le carolines). Le carolines eclairs, FTW!

Hello, Elena! Avocadoria Lover is a nice snack especially when it’s a bit warm out, for sure. I especially liked the toppings except the milk tea pearls. (Seemed really out of place in there.) As for the soft serve, it was just a hint of avocado, but good.

Avocadoria is a booth in SM, at the extension (food court level). Blak N Wyte Resto is in Diego Silang Road (same road as Rose Cafe), come in through hallway between Choice Cuts and Fantastic Cuts. (Agree, that cafe name is so difficult to spell. I couldn’t find it in FB because I was spelling it wrong … Or should I say right = Black n White. *tahaha)
King Shawarma is in the building right at the foot of Lourdes Grotto, Dominican Road. Noob Cafe is located on M. Roxas (enter the black gate across from the building with Elvin’s Bakeshop). Fremantle Pizzeria, while only a pick up/delivery service right now, is in St. Michael’s Dormitory, intersection of Rimando and Brookside, across from Tabora.
