With Master Tea; 1,2, Tea; and Nham Cha; Let’s Have A Tea Off!

It’s on account of milk tea becoming the ‘in’ drink once again. \m/ If you haven’t noticed yet, my foodie friend, the milk tea craze has made a comeback. It seems like almost every resto and corner store booth now has their own concoction of these tall drinks. (It’s even been made into some sort of cake … topped with pearls … based on what I saw WindowS shopping at the FB Marketplace. *hihi)
And when I say tall, I mean taaall, as in one liter (reusable) cups (Please do bring your cups back to the tea place if you’re on a return visit. #ReducePlasticWaste) with lots and lots of new flavors to choose from and savor. (And drown in. *tahaha I just can’t get over the liter sizes.)

While it was a challenge to pick which milk tea provider to try first, Master Tea; 1, 2, Tea; and Nham Cha made it easier on me by calling X+1 over to sample a couple of their milk tea brews. (Thank you so very much, Mr. Carlo, Ms. Layella, and Ms. Glenn! =D)

Give Master Tea a round of applause for being a homegrown, Baguio born brand. #SupportLocal It’s from their drinks list that I saw cream cheese for the first time. A nice addition to milk tea, as it gives more depth to the flavor of the whole beverage. So umami like, whoa. There’s a hint of saltiness in there. Just a hint; not like you accidentally put salt in your coffee instead of sugar. =b In comparison to one liter cups from other stores, Master has a different take = short and stout.

Another one sporting the ‘Support Local’ badge is a student fare type milk tea that offers easy on the pocket milky tea libations. One, two, tea, 1, 2, tea, drink. ♪ ♫
Of note from their menu is their milktea frappe series. You guessed it, you can kill two birds with one stone, drink milk tea and get your coffee fix in one shot. Coffee lovers and milk tea lovers, unite! (“,) Medium frappe cups are P100 and large ones are P120.
1-2-Tea also delivers. No minimum amount to order, but the delivery fee starts at P50, depending on the location you want your milky tea libation to be delivered. Just send your orders through their page (link below).

Nham Cha Thai Milk Tea
If you know Thai milk tea, you should be lining up at this store right this instant. At Nham Cha, they use Thai tea as a base for their refreshing glasses. If cream cheese levels up a regular milk tea, you can be sure there’s an even more complex flavor here. =)
I even went for the Overload which had everything [White choco, Oreo, black and gold pearls (Eeeiii! They really were black and gold), vanilla softy, macchiato cream] but the kitchen sink in it. The most luxurious milk tea I’ve ever had so far. Just wow.
