In an effort to bounce back from a blogging burnout, X+1 took a little time away from our beloved city. Our chosen destination: Bohol. \m/

(No, I’m not taking a bite out of the Chocolate Hills, silly. *hihi Though they do sell choco snackbites shaped like them at Aproniana Gift Shop there. That, I’ll surely be munching on with gusto. *nomnomnom) As awe inspiring a sight this Windows XP desktop photo version PH is, I could not get over the fabulous-ness of our stay at Peacock Garden Boutique Hotel. I could stay there for days on end fo’ sure (the universe willing, it will rain moolah on us *snickers). The dishes at the Old Heidelberg, the inhouse resto was so wonderful, I’d gladly start a blog just featuring all their stuff. *sip ahh, just thinking about their hot choco-the best cup I’ve had so far to date. We’ll surely come back to Bohol since we feel that we’ve only scratched its surface … even with our stops at Tagbilaran, Baclayon, Carmen, Bilar, and Loboc. (I didn’t get to try the uber flowery salad at Bohol Bee Farm yet! Eek! I cannot and will not rest until I do. =D)

This is the 2015 edition of what we’ve checked off from our list so far since going on hiatus from blog posts.
Bowls & Sticks – CHECK & CHECK! On our second visit, I had enough material and inspiration to start a post. It’s in my drafts folder now and I’ll have it up sometime soon.
SUBS – CHECK!
Master’s Garden – CHECK! Finally! After being pink on the list for such a long time.
Soft opened Chubby Bibs – CHECK!
As we speak, there are (still) other food establishments opening in Baguio. I just saw Golden Buffet on our ride back to town coming from a strawberry themed lunch at Zenz Cafe at Mines View Park Hotel yesterday.
Chicken and pork adobo with strawberries … with sinigang na baboy sa strawberry and a pitcher of strawberry iced tea. Missed home so much, we just had to overload with the succulent fruit. =b
We’ve also got so much on our agenda for eatsploring details on places like Ramanam, Buddy Boy Burgers, Cafe Chemistree, Live Long, 19fiftea Tearoom, Pamana d/w Hawaiian BBQ, etc. Whew!
