Meat Plus Cafe: Great Cuts of Meat, Plus Ultra
Lately,

Just some Meat Plus’ meaty, protein stacking selections (Steaks, salpicao, and pan fried salmon) =)
Race and I have been eatsploring a lot with big media since SM opened its extension. [Naturally, that came (and is still coming) with the opening of new places to get some sustenance and treats in Baguio City, food trip city. \m/ Bawal magdiet sa Baguio. *tahaha]
At one such foodievent, while X+1 made our way to yet another resto on first day operations, we saw a store being blessed called Meat Plus Cafe.
Its name had me thinking the whole morning, what it was all about . ^^, I cannot, for the life of me, understand why a meat shop (Images of Monterey were on my mind) warrants a space out and beyond the supermarket. Though we took a peek and saw their extensive menu, I was still puzzled.
It wasn’t until two weeks later, we were back food adventuring at this intriguing eating place that I got it down pat through the help of Meat Plus Specialists, Ms. Jemma and Ms. Patty. Thanks much to you both. =D

Race’s tender juicy New York strip steak combo meal. =] (Combo meals come with iced tea/lemonade/soda.)
Meat Plus Cafe started as an actual meatshop in Subic Free Port Zone. With such great cuts of meat to offer, patrons couldn’t wait to go home to cook it, so they got it cooked right there at the store. Read: Excited. *hee

My Meat Plus double-patty burger and fries combo. =D Wow, that was filling = Slaw, fries, hunky dense patties … Oh, and an impressive slice, as in slice of onion. It wasn’t just rings.
It wasn’t long until this practice of customers getting their choice meats cooked at Meat Plus, turned the joint into a ‘real’ resto … serving more than their signature US steaks, but also eating-out-crowd favorites like burgers, pasta, and fried chicken. (“,) (They maintained their choose-your-own-steak option, however. Just add P175 for a cooking fee please.)

Banana fritters (that looked so much like maruya to me and which Race couldn’t get enough of), (dense and luscious) carrot cake, and (delectable) cheesecake. *nomnomnom
And they didn’t stop there.
Meat Plus goes plus ultra by offering toothsome desserts: Apple pie, banana fritters, carrot cake, cheesecake, chocolate cake. =)
Apple pie ala mode ^^,
It just occured to me that we got our chompers around everything on the Meat Plus Cafe’s dessert line. Eiiii, so thrilling to already have favorites.
While we loved every meal ender that we got, I have to give it to Meat Plus for making fantastic apple pie and choco cake. Just take a look at that slice of pie. It looks like it’s going to explode, it has so much apple stuffed in it. And that crusty top? Yep, that’s cheese.
That chocolate cake, oh, so chocolatey, that’s smooth and rich. Perfect combination with their French press coffee which I just have to emphasize is only P65. (How our food tripping media friends loved that. *hihi)
Meat Plus as a meat store and restaurant has truly gone above and beyond. And for the added value they offer to an eating/dining experience, I’m inclined to come back here over and over again whenever I have a hankering for serious eats and/or to treat myself to fab dessert. #EatingHereIsAPlus for real.

Parting gifts to remember our introduction to this great meat store turned cafe. \m/ Thank you, Meat Plus!
***Thank you so much, Ms. Jemma and Ms. Patty, for helping us get to know Meat Plus Cafe. A pleasure to meet you, and more power!
***Thanks much to you too, Ms. Jess. Nice to meet you, Mr. Fredjie, and Ms. Angel.

Which side of SM is meatplus cafe?
Hello there, Marc! Meat Plus Cafe is on the lower ground floor extension of SM, if you’re facing the elevator doors, it’s on the left side, same line with Burger King, Gringo, Buffalos Wings N Things.
I hope this helps and I hope you enjoy your meal, from starters to desserts at this meat shop turned resto. Thanks for visiting FGBFs! (“,)
Sobrang busy ang lola sa mga kainan na bago sa SM. Ano pa ba magoopen dun ghorl? Meat Plus tapos?
Hello there, Mario! They did say in press releases I’ve read that there are 18 stores opening at the extension … Manam is opening real soon. Heard also that a sushi place with toy trains bringing your orders to you is coming. It’s all so exciting. *hihi

Hello, William! Let me guess, you were thinking the same thing we were that they’re a meat store? *hihi
They really do have a great selection of dishes on their menu, I hope you enjoy whatever it is you pick to eat at Meat Plus restaurant in Baguio, Clark, SM MOA, or Subic.

Kamusta dyan ghorl naquarantine mga beauty natin
Hello there, Mario! So sorry for the super late reply. I haven’t been checking my email since Mother Nature sent us all to our rooms to think about what we’ve done. *hihi
Same old, same old on our end, just without eatsploring. =b I hope you and your beauty are holding out well … We’re almost done with ECQ but I hope whether its extended or not, we’ll act properly.
Stay safe and healthy! (“,)
do you have a list of restaurants that do deliveries in ECQ?
Hello, Elena! Apologies but I do not have a list of restos that do deliveries in our quarantine time. A lot of them are open though for take out and deliveries … makes a lot of sense since that’s the only way they can still do business while we’re all on house arrest for most of the week. If you visit the Facebook page of your choice though, I’m sure they’ll have a notation there if they can provide you with a food delivery service.
I hope this helps. Stay safe and healthy! (“,)
Hello Xine. Im reading back on some of your posts here and updating my restaurant check list. My family and I can’t wait to eat out again. I hope you are alright in these trying days.
Hello, Alysa! I’m glad that this food blog is one of the things you’re using to pass quarantine time with. How’s your resto list so far?
At this moment, in May, I’m getting a bit antsy … wanting to sightsee in the grocery again, but I’ll live if I can’t in this time of COVID. *hihi (Sorry for the late reply, I didn’t sign into the blog until today.)
We’re doing a-okay … Thanks for checking in. I hope you and your loved ones are also coping well. Till we get out on the other side and beat this virus and start eatsploring again, thank you so much, and take care! (“,)
Thank you, mariefrye for the star for this feature on MeatPlus Cafe. Stay safe and healthy! (“,)
