#UbeXStrawberry Food Crawl at SM City Baguio

Let your fingers do the walking (more like moonwalking *hihi) while I hope to entice you and get you drooling for the foodstuff that we got to see … and snap photos of … in our berry and yam themed food crawl from the lower ground floor to the third floor of SM City Baguio. \m/
Make like a real pirate, food questers, and follow SM’s treasure map of ube and strawberry treats offered in and around the mall. Arrr!
1.) La Lola Churreria
A newly opened booth in the mall that features churros. They’ve got a variety to offer like the ones covered in ube chocolate and strawberry chocolate from tip to tip in the collage below. =D

2.) Krispy Kreme
Double chocolate strawberry doughnut, we meet again.
Baguio KK’s signature donut and wild berry kreme drink.
3.) Mak-makan Pasalubong
Good Shepherd best sellers as well as other ways one can enjoy strawberries. ^^,

4.) Vizco’s
But of course, there will be the ever famous strawberry shortcake on this list.

How nice they now also have a booth in the shopping mall.

And their ube cake is probably the prettiest ube cake I’ve ever seen.

6.) Red Ribbon Bakeshop
There’s this cake, and there’s ube macapuno rolls too (though I didn’t see them on this quick visit to the bakeshop).

7.) Starbucks Coffee
Of course, the classic strawberries and cream frap makes an appearance.

Okay, let’s take a breather. I sure needed one with the power walk in the mall. I’m now nice and exercised. Whoo, let’s do this.

10. Sweetmates Cakes
Twice in Sweetmates in three days. I was glad to see the whole ube custard cake in all its golden and purple glory.

Bongga ang lafangan sa SM!! Kebs ako sa strawberry or ube. Sa both ako. hehe Napili ko na bet ko. Yung ube cake ng Beans Talk at strawberry cheesecake ensaimada ng Red Ribbon. Dagdag na rin cheesecake ng starbucks. Kamusta naman yung lasa nun Xine?ung lemon flavored strawberry sa Sweetmates parang thirst quenching.
Hello there, Mario! Apologies but I don’t know what the purple yam cheesecake from Starbucks tastes like either … yet. We didn’t really eat the stuff that we took photos of in the food crawl (save for the new J.Co donut, Autumn).

There’s so many strawberry and ube flavored food in Baguio. I dont believe I ever tasted the purple yam cake at Starbucks too. I will get a slice the next time Im in SM. Thanks for the informative post.

As for promoting local, I do my best to feature those. If you check on the posts in this food blog, I rarely do features on big name resto brands unless they have something noteworthy on their food lists or they ask for help with getting the word out about their newest stuff.
