Do the Monster Mash – Halloween 2013 in Baguio
It’s swinging in Baguio from the end of October (to the beginning of November) now that a few establishments have gotten into the (ghoulish *whooo) spirit of Halloween.
Ready to do the monster mash? Here are a number of hotels and restaurants where you can join in on the revelry of dressing up in costumes and/or trick or treating and/or binging on candies and sweets (and also real food maybe made to look like creepy crawlies etc.) and/or just listening to great music. (“,)
1.) Kape Umali
Happening today (10/27/2013), at 1:00 p.m., I know it’s a bit short notice, but all you have to do is get you and your little one (dressed up as any character/anyone) to Shangrila Village. They’ve got ‘a simple children’s costume party planned and this includes a magic show, games and “village trick or treat”.
Registration for children is at P350, includes snacks and a goody bag. Adult registration fee is P200 and that includes snacks.’
2.) Forest Lodge
Told yah, the old Suites is fair game now. ^^, (Collaborating with Le Chef at the Manor)
The next day’s plans are for adults. =)
3.) Azalea Residences
4.) Malt Room at Le Monet
Another one for the adults. =D
*Hill Station at Casa Vallejo
They don’t really have a Halloween special to offer but since October 31st falls on a Thursday, you’ve got an option for a mellow, non-spooky night where you can enjoy the best munchables and edibles that only Hill Station can offer.
How about let’s pick the beat up a little from Monster Mash? I’m ending with Micheal Jackson’s Thriller. Weee! You know the steps, don’t you? \m/
***Posters of Halloween specials/end of month event (*hihi) are from the hotels’ respective Facebook pages, check them out for more details. (You might want to click Like for their pages too, so you can get notifications about what’s happening in their establishments).

X Marks the Spot for Good Baguio Foods is a personal blog. Everything posted in this blog is PERSONAL OPINION DERIVED FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE and since TASTE can be pretty SUBJECTIVE, should NOT be taken as THE NORM or the LAW OF DINING around in the City of Pines.
Its (prosaic =b) contents are meant to help with the question “san tayo?”/where do we go? in relation to eating out in Baguio, to ENCOURAGE EXPLORING (eatsploring) and TRYING NEW THINGS offered in the City of Pines.
By all means, eat where you want to eat and eat what you want to eat. May you have a great experience with all the places you visit and may all the restaurants you go to deserve a ton of treasure chests! (“,)
