Notable Edibles #24 – Chelcius Delicacies Matcha Crunch & Menus in the Baguio Dining Scene

First up, the 24th item for our Notable Edibles list:
Chelcius Delicacies Matcha Crunch
In Baguio, there’s choco flakes, a whole lot of different brands that offer that, and then there’s matcha crunch.
Matcha crunch ^^,
Boring cornflakes, gets a breath of new life, chocolate covered. It’s not just any ole choco with Chelcius … It’s matcha chocolate. I didn’t think I would be addicted to these crunchy little things. Like Pringles, “Once you pop you can’t stop” … at least, until a pack is finished. (“,) (I’m trrrrrying not to finish all in one sitting.) Such a fun texture in the mouth, I totally forgot to top it over vanilla ice cream or even try it as a regular (but ultra fancy *wink) cereal and put it in milk.
Crunchy munchies. *nomnomnom
Get a 100 gram pack from reseller stores like the The Manor‘s Sundry Shop, Ersao Taiwanese Restaurant, or House of Yogurt Lover HOY for for P120/P130 (depends on where you get it from.) (Live in Dagupan? Yellow Tree Cafe also has this green tea chocolate covered corn flakes on their shelves.) My favorite Muahcky’s dish … most especially if I can taste how it’s been simmering for long, meat so tender, the tendons/litid is like marrow, it’s so soft. =D
Newly Checked Off
1.) Hala Bileial
Our first visit can be considered a foodievent, thanks a whole lot to Mr. Ayman, for taking care of us and stuffing us silly with their Arabian offering. They’re still in the midst of a transition from Subo to Hala Bileial, so even though they’re open as early as 8:00 a.m., the Arabian selections come full swing at 3:00 p.m. for the moment. Oh, their super supreme falafel sandwich. Mighty refreshing for all its veggie contents, and major filling.
That’s mutabak, their delicious hummus, and the filling “super na, supreme pa” falafel sandwich on the collage with the menu. *hihi
2.) Burger Barracks
Wide selection of meats for patties – beef, pork, chicken, mmm.
3.) Red Snapper
Formerly Bellyful Seafood and Snacks. =)
4.) Senor Sabrozo The Food Cartel
Great sauce covered alitas el pollo. With 12 pieces, it’s enough for a filling meal. Just order extra rice. The pizza, oh the pizza. *drool

5.) Teatone by Kusingeros
Milk teas are so back in style. <3s for their “two tone” glasses, what they call harmony cups, where you can have two flavors (one milk tea and one fruit tea) in one. (No, they won’t mix it together. *tee hee) The ice blended taro we got was fantastic, too. Nice and thick.

1. ) Bow and Whiskers Cafe
Bow and Whiskers Cafe, Baguio’s first ever Hello Kitty themed cafe has moved to a street level location at Mykaddesh Building, #85 M. Roxas Street, Trancoville (across from Palawan Pawnshop). Wee!
Just in case you didn’t know yet, they also have an all day buffet going on daily with their scrumptious crispy dinakdakan, chicken lollipops, and a handful of other selections for P195.
New digs for Baguio’s Hello Kitty themed cafe.
Back for more pizzasta.
You know it. Race’s walang kamatayang lechon pechay is what we’re after. *heehaha
4.) Raincoat Coffee at G1 Lodge
Weekend breakfast buffet is now offered at Raincoat Coffee, G1 Lodge’ inhouse restaurant. Happening Saturdays and Sundays, 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., for the intro price of P248/pax.
Oh my, their coffee. Made mine sweet and creamy, it was oh so caramel-ly. *sip ahh
Starting the day with the Raincoat Cafe offering. (One of the viands – sweet and sour pork, fruits and cookies for dessert, my sweet espresso *heehaha, and an omelette with veggies, cheese, ham, and kiniing. NYUM!)
5.) Studio Coffee Cafe + Deli at Beersheba Group Transient House
Their newest branch is a pretty space. \m/ But as long as they have my favorite on the menu, I’m a happy explorer of food.
Check out that lechon sinigang rice meal. My fave at Studio Coffee! =)
