Now that we got that out of the way, Poofee is named for the star on their modest menu: Poop coffee. It’s not shit per se, but actually coffee beans in a civet’s poop (and a weasel’s, too, in Poofee Blend’s case.) (What are the differences between a civet and a weasel? I’d still have to study that shit. =)) )
Poofee Blend Cafe: Taste of the Wild =D
So the animal eats the coffee berries whole and the beans go through some fermentation funkiness in its body while it’s partially digested. When the seeds are harvested, they’re cleaned properly and thoroughly (of course), and made into kopi luwak, coffee with a special flavor to it … special enough to make it one of the most expensive cuppa Joe-s one could ever have. ^^,
A fantastic cup of coffee from Poofee. (This is salted caramel. We also had matcha mocha latte a month before, which I <3)
We didn’t have a poop coffee though (Scared shitless? *teehee) as they had quite a number of eye catching flavors that sounded so good. (Oh look, espresso egg coffee.) I couldn’t get over how huge the slice of delectable mango mousse cake I got, was. No bullshit, Race went head over heels for their well made delicious matcha mocha latte. (Who gives a shit that the owners were in the midst of learning to pour latte art? No one. =b) We were so satisfied, we resolved right there to return as soon as we can.

Back in the little cafe, we went with another coffee flavor (salted caramel) and more mango mousse. #Addict *hihi For a more substantial meal, we got their savory meat pies. Our attendant wasn’t kidding when he said they were humongous. Around 4 to 5 inches, man!
Meat pies: Beef bacon with cheese and chilly beef ^^,
Our selections were surely packed with ground beef and what a kick of jalapeno in that chili beef one. (Overpowered the beef somewhat, though.) My meat pie had even more flavor with bacon and cheese stuffed in with the ground meat in the crunchy flaky shell. (“,) A beautiful sound came from the crust when I punched a hole into it with my knife. Crispy oozy, it made my mouth water even more.

It’s true coffee with latte art looks good but I’ll always prefer a plain cup of good coffee to something with latte art where taste is sacrificed. Kudos to Poofee Cafe owners that they are learning to pour but they should never sacrifice the taste and temperature of the coffee. Just my two cents. Thanks for featuring this new coffeeshop.
