And Another Fully Loaded Baguio Eatsploring Update
Because it’s extremely bothersome that there’s just two of them posts here. *heehaha
Good things come in threes, they say, thus, the fixation. *hihi
I hope you’re all doing great with the food quest, my foodie friends. As usual, as we speak, there are new eating places opening, expanding, even being built so here we are again with a menu laden post to keep you up to date.
But first, let’s talk about non brick and mortar food providers.
Online Stores:
Ivy’s Chili Vinegar Sauce
For a-tapang a-tao(s) kind of accompaniments to your meal. (Get a load of how much chili and garlic bits are in the bottle below. More than half, it’s scary. Apparently, I’m no atapang atao. *tahaha) But boy, does Race enjoy this kick ass sauce. As it is, or with a dash of ketchup, it’s a-okay. (This is me, taking my better half’s word for it.)

Dulche Chocolates
THE first Benguet made chocolate bean to bars, guys. #SupportLocal Interesting flavors, nice melty smooth consistency, I could finish a whole bar just like that … particularly the Shewsins mint chocobar.

On to the restaurant dish lists. [Basically, my train of thought goes like this; if you have a ballpark figure of how much you could potentially spend in a resto, it would be easier for you to make a visit. Major consideration for me as in … Me no likey to wash dishes to pay for my meal. =)) (Especially when the weather’s like this. Whoa, temp drop again, no?)]
Menus
Newly Checked Off
1.) Abacus Seafood Restaurant at Travelite Hotel Legarda
Another fancy Chinese restaurant … Hhmmm, what’s with the Legarda/Otek vicinity, I wonder. Good Feng Shui for Chinese cuisine?
Lots and lots of dishes to choose from. It took X+1 a good long while to pick something out. (“,)
2.) Cafe Kayman and Little Nibblers Fish Spa
I rarely am at Abanao Square, and it’s nice that when my brother and I did find ourselves there, we had a pretty good snack from this long running cafe in the building. Cheers … with a mango yogurt shake in my hand. =D
3.) Craft 1945 – Casa Marcos
At last, we got to dine at the Casa. Thanks to the proprietors inviting my blogger friends and I to join in on the festivities of their grand opening milestone.
How time flew as we hung out at their al fresco spot, chatting, munching on scrumptious tapas/dishes like callos, and sipping Craft Brewery beers and Casa Marcos’ mocktails. ^^,
4.) Igorots Cafe
5.) Maeve Cafe at Ililikha Artists Center
For the branch right smack in the middle of town, at Ili-likha Artist Center, no reservations needed to dine on Maeve’s healthy option burritos, salads, and cakes in a jar. \m/
6.) Mang Bolex at Food Hub
7.) Zax’s House of Chicken and Waffles
Updated Menus
1.) Studio Coffee Cafe+Deli
What a sip ahh drink, their Barista Special Frappe, Black Mamba was. Can’t wait for warmer days to drink lots and lots of that stuff. Yummy short order viands, too (binagoongan and kaldereta rice meals). And the Thai noodles … probably the most seafood-y soup I’ve ever had in my life. =)
2.) Ummason (Mother’s Hand) Korean Restaurant
One of my go to places for (spicy) stews to warm myself up (and also, to beat an oncoming cold. Back away, sniffles!), for sure.
3.) Yes Pho
Spring rolls-check! (Finally *hihi) We relished in their nyum nyum banh mi offering this visit too.
Foodievents/A Day in the Life of An Eatsplorer
Yellow Cab So Worth It
Last month, Yellow Cab rolled out their So Worth It Pizza Tour packing a Saturday night each for four different locations in the country with free pizza and beer, local music, and fun with friends. Wee!
While the pizza tour may be over, there still are other So Worth It events and promos planned for the future, so be sure you’re in the know; give a Like for the Yellow Cab Facebook page.
Bagong Morning Kapamilya Guesting
Five minutes in the spotlight of regional TV talking about food, food blogging, and my attempts at photographing foodporn.
All rightie. I guess you’re up to speed now with what’s happening in the City of Pines food scene. As always, I wish you memorable food adventures, dear reader! Kwento here if you want to, too.
