It’s a week later and I’m back
The awe-inspiring dining area of Aura 1 Hotel (“,)
… with a new set of menus to help you, Baguio foodies, on your journey to a food coma, if that’s what you so wish. ^^,
I have a bit of slack time between renovation work and trying to earn more moolah to complete that, so this will be a quick presentation. (Note to first time visitors to this food blog: Inasmuch as I’m having fun giving updates on what’s new in the City of Pines food scene, this does take up much of my time and effort and isn’t necessarily making me money so I do have to choose if the day’s going to be a work day, an eatsploring day, or an eats-storytelling day. =b)
Newly Checked Off
1.) Aura One Hotel’s inhouse resto
A happy discovery riding home from a quick dindin at Chef Mediterranean Restaurant a couple weeks back, which completed our day yesterday. Really so easy on the eyes, their dining area. And yes, good food … and great coffee too. (“,) There goes Race, adding Aura 1 to his list of places for coffee.
2.) Bella Marie Cafe
Like the Little Leigh Cafe but on the other end of Rimando Road. =)
3.) HOY – House of Yogurt Lover by Calajo
A nice little pit stop methinks before leaving the city. ❤ their guyabano-papaya jam.
4.) Nare Samgyeopsal Buffet
The samgyupsal buffet is P280 per person here at Nare.
P3 catch up session over eat all you can samgyeopsal and other Korean treats =D
Drinks are not part of the spread, so you can find the menu for libations below.
5.) Raincoat Coffee at G1 Lodge
Funky, artsy building, I’d like to explore more in the future …
… apart from getting more of their fried halo halo. I think this is how I’d like my turon from now on. =D Nyum, the nata, tapioca, etc., inside the fried wrap.
What an interesting twist on halo halo … If only there was more of it, it would’ve been perfect. ^^,

The most recent addition to the fried chicken joint food list is roasted bone marrow at P188. (Heads up, the prices for their older offerings have been raised P10 or so.)
Bone marrow and fried chicken pairing. =) (Regularly paired with pares pares but they ran out of that when we were here.)

I visited Bella Marie Cafe. it looks nice but its too small. It gets crowded easily. Pls tell me the location of Raincoat Coffee and the samgyeopsal buffet Nare ^-^ Thanks

We were there when they opened late and we didn’t arrive far from their opening and already the cafe was full. I have a sneaky feeling the people beside us were shy to talk since we could hear each other so clearly. *hihi
