Korean Manor Buffet (Samgyeopsal & Shabu-shabu) Moves to Mines View Park
Newsflash!!!

Oso oseyo! (“,) (That’s “welcome” in Korean. Thanks to Mr. Kim and Mrs. Kang, my student’s parents for teaching me little Korean phrases like these before.)
Korean Manor Buffet (that used to be in South Drive Manor) is now in Mines View. Good news for the droves of people visiting that area, I’m sure. Another dining option … and what a sumptuous option it is. ^^,
As amused as I was with (just) their condiments and sauces (complete with chili oil, wasabi and gochujang) when we were at South Drive Korean Manor Buffet years back (I’ve been told, it’s easy to make me happy =b) , I was STILL amused at it when X+1 were invited to visit their new place at Ibay Zion building.
More than the sauces section, it’s the whole spread for grilling (not just samgyeopsal, but also soy sauce chix, regular and spicy bulgogi, garlic sausage and moksal/pork chop/neck meat) and …
AND shabu-shabu. =D

My better half completing his mise en place for our shabu shabu \m/
So yes, we’ve got both, for our lunchies or dinner at this buffet joint.

Shabu-shabu ingredients (thinly sliced beef, petchay, squid ball, ube chunks, tofu, mushroom, tomato, mongo sprouts, shrimp, noodles, squid, watercress, squash, corn) Double wee!
Let’s admit it, it can get pretty dry, all those grilled proteins.
At this buffet manor, we can sip on a veggie juices packed healthful broth from the pot bubbling, boiling at the other burner on our table whenever we feel our mouths and throats dry up from the successive bites into samgyeopsal or “pork neck” or bulgogi pieces. *hihi (Perfect too for warming the rumbly tumtum up on a monsoon-y rainy day like when we were at the buffet resto.)

Side dishes and Korean staples at the Korean Manor. (I forgot to take a shot of the soy bean sprout side dish.) *nomnom
And with Korean Manor buffet being a true blue Korean resto, there’s side dishes (that day, it was kimchi, pickled radish, marble potato, soy bean sprouts, another pickled veg mix with the seaweed used in miyeok guk) and as well as Korean faves like kimbap and japchae. \m/

Race on grilling duty … but of course. *hee
Once you’re all done with that, we also have a finishing touch: Dessert. The day we visited, it was subak hwachae or Korean watermelon (and then some = fruit cocktail) punch.
This really made me walk down memory lane even more. On one of my first batches of students‘ last evening in Baguio before leaving for Manila to go back home to Korea for their regular school year, this punch was one of the things served at the despedida party (but with Coca-cola). Never have I had anything like it before. *sip ahh Sooo freakin’ good, I remember I kept drinking/eating even when I felt like I was going to explode. =))
But wait, there’s more. Korean Manor in Mines View now also has a rack of authentic Korean garb as well as photo shoot spots in their dining area. Take your pick from the costumes on the rack and snap away, my foodie friends. =)
Needless to say, X marks Korean Manor Buffet for good food in Baguio. (“,) (On a side note: I would like to return on a nicer day. The dining area has this long line of wide windows, you see, I imagine it would be fab when it’s nice and sunny out, blue skies over a tree lined horizon. The foggy view then was just so Baguio though. Still perfect.)
Grill buffet plus shabu-shabu buffet prices: P399 for adult, P299 for kids. Please take note that there’s a leftover charge of P200 so let’s waste not so we want not.
*They have some dishes to offer a la carte, too, just in case you’re not up for gorging. They’re priced at P200 to P250.

This one is really great buffet experience!
Hello there, Alvin! It sure is. So much to enjoy munching on, so little tummy space. *hihi We left Baguio Korean Manor Buffet uber satisfied.
Happy Baguio food adventure to you! Thanks for visiting Find Good Baguio Foods. (“,)
Akala ko wala na Korean Manor. Lumipat lang pala
Hello! Glad to know this post gave you the precious information about Korean Manor Buffet just moving to Mines View. *hihi
I hope you have a great time at their new place! Thanks for dropping by! (“,)
Wow shabu shabu and grill buffet. Very tummy filling. 🙂
Hello there, Nickie! Long time no see here! We were defeated by this grill and shabu shabu buffet. One pass to get ingredients and that’s it. Really truly satisfying lunch at the new Korean Manor.
Thank you for commenting again! Happy eatsploring! (“,)
Di pako nakapagbasa at naging busy ang lola. Pero bet ko yung shabu shabu ditey sa Korean Manor. Natry mo na ba yung sa lemonet girl? Mahalia Jackson kaya mas maganda dito. Madaming malalafang hehe
Hello there, Mario! Ohh, right, Le Monet does have a shabu shabu offering. I bet this one from Korean Manor is surely way cheaper. Plus, that includes a grill buffet so no contest *hihi Definitely, madaming malalafang here.
Thanks for visiting even if you’re busy! Happy Baguio food adventure! (“,)
Your feature for Korean Manor Buffet comes at the right time. I was just looking for samgyupsal buffet besides Korean Palace. Tnx
Wee! That’s good to know. I hope you enjoy your binging at Korean Manor. Thanks for dropping by Find Good Baguio Foods. (“,)
We went to Korean Manor after work. I think we did not get as many ingredients as you did. The other leaf for wrapping samgupsal was not available. Just lettuce and the shrimp looks like it was on display for a long time. It was already too gray. Then we did not get any dessert. Only a few cups were put out and the people in the other table got it all. No other dessert was served. Without the costumes, our experience would have been really bad. 😦
Wahuhu, I’m sad to hear that so many things were amiss at your visit to Korean Manor. I’ll be sure to get your feedback to the proprietors of the samgyeopsal and shabu shabu buffet resto.
I hope you got enough pictures in the Korean costumes though. Keep on stepping, Nickie! On to the next food adventure (may they be more satisfying)! (“,)
