Sizzling in Baguio

(I’m on a roll with the photo blogs!  I’m getting them right and so here’s another one. =b)

Let’s get sizzling in Baguio! Ready up your slabs of meat!  But first, starter bowls of mushroom soup …for those lazy to chew days.  (But you wouldn’t want to NOT chew with the meal offered you at Sizzling Plate Baguio.)

Sizzling Plate mushroom soup

Ready to Sizzle? And here is your starter = mushroom soup. =)

When your appetite is raring to go, you can get yourself sizzling plates of these delicious meats (and other dishes like tokwa’t baboy, extra fries – if the ones on your plate are not enough, and various other dishes).

Cream of Mushroom Soup, Fillet Mignon, T Bone Steak, Gravy, Fries and Tokwa’t BaBoy. \m/

Sizzling Plate Australian rib eye steak

NOTE:  Sizzling Plate takes their name a little bit too seriously.  If you’re the type who wants his or her steak medium rare, you can bet, it’s going to be overdone.  *sizzle sizzle!  (Rare?  Good luck to you.) ^^, Sizzling Plate (Session Road, Abanao Extension, or Luneta Hill) is guilty as charged for murdering steaks…yes, on a daily basis to Anthony Bourdain’s horror.  Sorry chef.

Sizzling Plate double grilled porkchop

Double Grilled Porkchop…because grilling it once, isn’t enough? =))

I, on the other hand, have no complains here.  I like my meat well done – just paranoid maybe =)) (Will try a proper steak some time…but not just yet *heehaha.)

Sizzling Plate's sizzling plates

Sizzling plates of tenderloin tips, Australian rib eye steak, Australian T Bone steak, grilled pork chop and Salisbury steak. *sizzle…crackle and pop!

If only for the rice and the gravy, I’m always game to visit Sizzling Plate… Oh yeah, gravy!  I drench it all over my rice and it’s oh so wonderful.  What can I say; it’s easy to make me happy.  (“,)

Sizzling Plate gravy

…so savory…you can still taste the drippings. Ahhh, heaven (“,)

Cap your meal off with a piece of sans rival (or maybe a whole one…to go, of course).  Sizzling Plate’s just has the right sweetness and buttery flavor.

Layers of yum, layers of crunch (“,)

If you want a more luscious dessert to appease your sweet tooth, might I suggest Sizzling’s choco flan – smooth and delicious. *drool drool

Sizzling Plate choco flan

Choco flan. ’nuff said. =D

Together with your order of sans rival to go, get a plastic canister or two of lengua de gato!  They’re simply great.  It’s all in the slivers, man, the slivers. \m/ (Surely, you won’t confuse it with lady fingers.)

Sizzling Plate lengua de gato

Lengua de Gato…notice how thin those are. Adds a lot to the eating experience. Oh yeah, give that canister here!
