Eatsploring the City of Pines: The Menus Edition 3

Hey, hey, hey, Baguio food questers! I hope you enjoyed the Independence Day holiday weekend. (“,)

At Pudgy Pudding having a warm apple pie pudding ^^, [I don’t really have a menu from this joint (got shy to take a photo because it was right at the counter with the proprietors *hee) but this one is P145 and the most expensive one was the cold special at P170 thereabouts.]

I’m back with the third installment to Eatsploring the City of Pines: The Menus Edition posts. This will just be another quick drive-by feature though since I’ve got my mind on more far-reaching topics.

Newly Checked Off Baguio Restaurants

1.) Daily Wok

One of Sir Dan‘s many recos. Pocket friendly Asian noodle selections here, much appreciated.

2.) Garcia’s Kape, Tinapay, Atbp.

A newly renovated restaurant with a revised menu, which I could’ve sampled the very day it was launched if only I didn’t have a previous engagement. =) I’m so glad I tried a couple scrumptious selections (created with Chef Cris‘ expertise; way to go, Chef!) now. Eeek, ❤ ❤ ❤ the orzo salad and we had such fun with the choco smores. Who’s coming back for more? Me! Of course, don’t forget to get a cup or two of their coffee.

3.) Juthoms Cafe

Simple quick eats from a small food store.

4.) Milano’s Pizza, Pasta and Pastries

Another Sir Dan resto discovery. Thank you, Sir.

5.) Overtones Ito Sushi Bar and Restaurant

Just when I thought I had my fill of maki and sushi stuff (from Kanzen maki delivery), this sushi bar opens its doors for a dry run. *tee hee Thanks for the heads up, Jo!

6.) Unicorn Dream Cafe

X+1 made it to their launch date and they were just easing into the operations then. I’m eager to see how they’ve grown in the past month. (Note the fab mural by artist, Sil when you’re there.)

Updated Menus

[Let me insert a photo of the most popular post in the blog’s Facebook page to date – the fried chicken spot that used to be in PNR which moved to the satellite market in Military Cut Off a.k.a. KFC = Kanto Fried Chicken. I was also told, the Baguio taxi drivers call it: Mang Inasar. =)) (Thanks for that little but uber amusing info bite, Ms. Sheilah Mae!) (Shout out to Chrysler, my coworker at the Manor Spa years back. I first heard of KFC PNR from him. You should’ve heard him talking about it. #droolfest]

1.) Baguio Craft Brewery

Ahey, more munchables! \m/ (Courtesy of Moldex Residences Baguio, that we were here then. Thank you, Moldex!)

2.) Good Taste Restaurant

Long time, no see and eat, Good Taste! I also did some panic buying of their cream puff while we were here. What happened to their fried rice good for three then though?  What’s up with the buttery rice (that made me feel like a Batang Star Margarine), guys? =b I definitely like the old recipe better. I hope there’s an option for preferred rice version. Pretty please?

3.) The Nook Kitchen and Pub at Le Fern Hotel II

Another swinging good time. Wee!

4.) Zola Resto Cafe

A month after our food-packed two days, they have a new food list and me likey! Herb chicken and spicy sausage pasta, I will have you to myself soon. (We ate boodle fight style sans banana leaves  and with eating utensils with the eatsploring gang, Ms. Pam, Ms. Kimberly, and Sir Carl at part two of food tasting. =D A pleasure to meet you, Ms. Lyka!)

Here ends our menu-centric feature. Memorable and delightful eatscapades to you, my foodie friends! ^^,

Hello there! Oh, I agree. I did like Pudgy Pudding’s warm apple pie pudding better than the yellow and pink striped cold one. Like my tongue/mind/body couldn’t place what was that cold thing i was eating. *hihi

Thanks for visiting Find Good Baguio Foods! Happy Baguio food adventures! (“,)

*heehaha Hello, Mario! Amused with PNR KFC Kanto Fried Chicken /Mang Inasar. =b

Oh, I know right. I just passed by Garcia’s Kape, Tinapay, Atbp. too. I knew they have a cafe in the back but gosh, this new menu, wow. Orzo is a kind of pasta, looks like rice grains. I super love that salad. And yes, Garcia’s has smores and more too.

Happy eatsploring, Mario! Many thanks! (“,)

      • Mario says :

Baka pang Rica Peralejo lang yang orzo. Kalowka mukang rice grains din lang. Magsmores and coffee muna siguro ako hehehe Sa Overtones Ito Mahalia Jackson din hindi ata kaya ng budget ko

I think the price is right for Eli’s Honey Lime Ozro salad. It did look like a small serving but it was just right what with the cranberries, sundried tomatoes, the flavor, every element of it.

Agreed on Overtones Ito though. I did get worried that I didn’t bring enough but they’re good. I don’t like raw tuna anywhere but their salad with raw tuna was delish.

I hope your Wednesday is going well, Mario! (“,)

WOW! New restaurants in Baguio again. Too bad you did not publish this menu post before the long weekend. There were many tourists in Baguio again and they could have heard about the new restaurants like Overtones, Unicorn Dream and Milanos. But thank you for your posts full of useful info about eating in Baguio. Youre truly a big help.

    • XiNE says :

Hello there! Had other stuff on my mind in the long weekend. =b No worries, I think. The tourists can come back on another holiday and finally check off the new restos then. *hihi

I hope you have a great time wherever you choose to dine on any day, be it Overtones Ito Sushi Bar and Resto, Unicorn Dream Cafe or Milano’s Pizza. Thanks for visiting the blog! (“,)
