Baguio Dining A La Carte – Keeping Up with the Food Quest 2
Because I’ve got something up my sleeve and it’s keeping me pretty occupied …
… but the only way I could eat a good meal is if I eat out *heee, so here’s la carte-s of what we’ve checked off our list so far so you can get chompin’ too … also those that we’ve recently returned to.
The photo above is of the meal my brother and I had in Filipino Hawker at Trancoville. We’ll start with them.
1.) Filipino Hawker at Trancoville
Take a look see at this link for their offering; it’s a nicer looking menu than what I could capture on cam. *hihi Me likey their rice meals (budget friendly Hainanese chicken \m/) .
2.) Bag-iw Euro Foods & Steakhouse
Mmm, smoked salmon sandwich.
So amused with their section that’s like Mother Earth. I ❤ PX stuff. *heehahaha
3.) The Coffee Shop at Citylight Hotel
We were here for pho ^^, … and for their green tea burger (phased out, we’re told) and black burger.
4.) Emithia’s Porch
This aside from their weekend specials, breads and desserts. *nomnomnom
5.) Future Diner at Hotel Supreme
*contented sighs
6.) Hill Station Bistro
The last pho to try from this updated bistro offering.
7.) Hook’d Up
Please note that they’ve since moved to the building next to where they were first located. Shisha on the balcony while people watching, anyone? =D
8.) Icee’s Panciteria
The time we visited, it was batil patong all the way; the only thing available on the menu then=b (as authentic as it gets, says the eatsploring couple Ela and Paolo). Looking forward to trying the other dishes.
9.) Index Coffee Books Gifts at Palazzo d’ Bliss
Getting better and better at every visit. Look at that wide selection! Weee!
10.) Ocha Asian Cuisine
A throw-in, really. My, we haven’t been here in so long. It was nice to be back (for pho).
11.) Sakura Terrace
An altogether different offering now from Yamashita’s ramen selection. At least,I hope they still have a long list of options for noodles at the Leonard Wood branch. Where would I be without my salt+sesame oil based bowl. =)
12.) The Spartans
One of the (soft opened) concessionaires at The University Belt that officially opens sometime this month. Love their yogurt shake and that wonderful sauce in the wraps. Just like that, our list is long again. Shyeew. (UPDATE 01/19/2016: Moved to SN Oriental Building on Leonard Wood Road beside where Phil Health is.)
13.) Ummason Korean Restaurant
The Korean grocery (my favorite wide and bright Korean grocery *sniff) under Game and Grub Boardgame Cafe (UPDATE 01/09/2016: G&G is now Raduno) turned into a full blown resto. Wow, their kimchi chigae here.
Happy eating! Gotta make like a banana and split. (“,)
