Hill Station: Take Refuge in Good Food
Baguio City, for its cool climate, is a refuge for many in the hotter months of the year. This is the very essence of what a hill station is and now, with Casa Vallejo being reopened (I used to fantasize seeing what it looks like inside this place as a child =D), Baguio residents as well as visitors to the city have a place to take refuge in that serves good food.

Hill Station dining area…the smaller one (bar/cafe) before it opens up to the big amazing dining area with the big wide windows. =)

Hill Station scene (the stairs, the dining area, the flowers and the ceiling) …and two of my favorite people in the world! ^^,
Regardless if it’s hot out or if it’s chilly (like it is today, with tropical depression, Quinta moving across the Philippines *shyeew Stay safe and warm, foodie friends!), you can take comfort and delight in the scrumptious eats offered at the Hill Station (Casa Vallejo’s in house restaurant).

Salads (Mediterranean and Ceasar), pastas (linguine with sundried tomatoes and pecorino, seafood carbonara and short rib ragu with fettuccine), house specialties (lechon kawali with laing sa gata, chicken gratinati, and crispy duck flakes) , sandwiches (gyoza burger) and more at Hill Station! \m/
Serving anywhere from tapas, house favorites and desserts and also, special breakfasts, any time is a good time to fill your tummy up with Hill Station food. The hotel/restaurant is located in a prime spot of the city which makes it so accessible to people looking for a mealtime treat. (Good thing, because I’m always craving for their New York cheesecake =b …or any of their desserts for that matter *hihi)

Carrot cupcake, death by chocolate (more like: Died and gone to heaven dessert =b) and a slice of deep dark chocolate cake. *happy sighs

Carrot cupcake (again) with cream cheese icing (…and a nice decorative use for small veggie pieces.) Oh, another dollop of that yummy cream cheeeeese icing pleassssse. =)
If you’re not in the mood for cake, here are your other options: the choco-lemon tart and a scoop of homemade ice cream (for when you’re taking refuge from the heat, too at Hill Station). At this particular visit, I was gunning for their avocado ice cream with chilies (I think that was it *senior moment =))) but I guess they phased that out now. Their other flavors are vanilla cinnamon, dark chocolate with cayenne (interesting), and mango rum (even more innnnnteresting *hihi).
Walking into Hill Station, the dining area view never ceases to amaze me. (Eeeiii, big wide windows! \m/)

Hill Station refugees for good food. =D Shout out to Reagan, Ronelyn and Gie! … and our favorite attendant (in the polaroid photo), shout out to you too, Manong! (“,)
X marks Hill Station for good food in Baguio. If refuge is what you’re looking for, the place to be is at Hill Station. It’s a beautiful place with wonderful people who serve delicious food.
For the holiday season, Hill Station also has holiday treats to offer like these cans of cookies. Perfect for gifts (like when you go a-visiting to ninong or ninang’s house =b). Or it can be just some of the goodies you can munch on at home.
You might want to join the Hill Station Countdown to New Year and their New Year’s Eve Buffet, too. (“,) For details, click here.
Ambiance: (Oh, wide windows. =D)
