Baked Treats for the Holidays
Pat-a-cake, pat-a-cake, baker’s man. Bake me a cake … um, cookies, and cream puffs and … and … ^^,
We’ve got less than a month to Christmas and we know, there’s more to sweet celebratory treats besides the ones from big name brands like See’s, Cadbury, Nestle, etc.; limited edition Xmas chocos, special goodies and more special goodies.
When you have to have a cake or two in your holiday spread or something to serve Santa on his gift delivery pit stop at your house, this is where you might want to get them. =)
1.) The Ganache
Not only is this cake easy on the eyes, it’s also mondo scrumptious. \m/ Just the right sweetness, you’ll surely be asking for another slice right after the first one.
The Ganache’s baker advised us not to underestimate this bundt and she was right.
At our house, we fought over the last piece of this moist, fragrant cakebread. We just couldn’t get enough of the sensation of each bite punctuated with small pieces of chewy orange peeling.
Oh, so chocolate-y crunchy cookies. =D
Beautifully glazed and bedazzled with nuts and fruit fruitcake. *nomnomnom goes my bread monger, fruitcake lovin’ sister =))

2.) Baked Goodies from Jo‘s Aunt, Myrna
Take a bite, feel the yummy cream squish out of these little puffs, oh yeah.

3.) Wakee’s Breads and Pastries
Delicately pretty, key lime pie. *happy sighs The lime filling was a bit runny for this order but I’m looking forward to another one (flawlessly set). What a tangy pie!
Crunchy and juicy apple cubes under a polvoron like crumb topping. Let’s get a-slicing!
UPDATE 05/18/2015: Love love this cake of theirs below. The cakebread’s so moist and the icing so fluffy like melted marshmallows, I forgot its name. *tee hee

5.) Karla’s Kitchen
(I’m adding our resident baker‘s creations here. Your orders might help get her out of the rut and get her baking again. Me nagpaparinig, Karla *heeeharhar)
The first I ever heard of cake pops was when Karla made some for Beth and me. Oh, you moist cake bread covered with delectable imported choco on sticks, when will I see you again?
Melt in your mouth tea cakes … Heavenly! I’ll leave you to discover why Karla calls it, the Secret Kiss. (“,)
Leave a comment in the blog or leave a message on this blog’s FB page for Karla’s Kitchen inquiries and orders. Thank you so much, Baguio eatscapaders!
(Please do get in touch with the masters of these yummy delights through the numbers/email addresses provided, they’ve got so much more on their product lists. These are just the stuff that I’ve tried so far and I can’t wait to expand my chomping experience with their creations. *hihi)
