Brothers Burger, Where Art Thou?
Apparently, Brothers Burger can be found in two locations in Baguio City now. (“,) There’s one at the Camp John Hay Mile Hi Center and the newest branch, in Technohub.
The first time I got to try this burger was in 2009 when I had a coworker who was a big Brothers Burger devotee. (Shout out to Chrysler! =D) He was such a fan of their burgers (really, also of food in general) that he kept an eye on the newspapers for the Brothers Burger anniversary. You see, it’s their regular promotion to slash 50% off the price of specific hamburgers to commemorate another successful year.
What a whopper of a burger we shared that rainy, foggy day in June – the Brothers pounder. (“,) (I have no photos of that particular burger but it’s forever burned in my memory and my taste buds.)
Flash forward to a year later, Race and I went to Camp John Hay to try their other offerings. We got ourselves the lamb burger, the black angus burger and chili fries. It was a good spread but it was something you’d expect (and probably cross your fingers for) with the amount you pay.
When you have a craving for a huge burger, the best burger in town really is Brothers Burger. (They’re true to their catch phrase.) At our most recent visit, we ordered their house burger and one of their designer burgers, the blues brothers burger.
With Jollibee’s amazing aloha long gone, blues brothers from Brothers Burger is now my favorite. They made use of real blue cheese that’s oh so yummy. (This ingredient really makes the burger worthy of being classified as a designer. \m/) Another reason why I love this is that, it has greasy, salty bacon in it. (Three cheers for bacon!)
Now, if I only had more choices for drinks to satisfy my thirst, too, the visit to Brothers Burger would already be perfect. I wonder what’s happening over at their new branch, the more spacious branch. Maybe they’ve got a variety of drinks to offer there. Let’s see.
X marks Brothers Burger for great designer burgers in Baguio.
Food: for the regular burgers;
for their designer burger ***MSG free food! (food offerings are free of monosodium glutamate – as per menu/restaurant staff member. Please ALWAYS CONFIRM with your attendant/server/waiter to be on the safe side. ^^,)
Service: (You place your order at the counter and when your order’s up, one of the staff members will take it to your table, a no brainer task.)
Ambiance: (for the CJH hole in the wall. Will have to check out the new branch.)
Price: (If you want it good, order their designer burgers – which costs a fortune. =b)
