Baguio Dining A La Carte – Updated Menus … for the most part =)
I’ve accumulated a number of menus again, a baker’s dozen to be exact. While they’re mostly updated menus for food establishments we’ve visited before, I just thought you’d like stay abreast with what’s new. (“,) (Of note: Bacon milkshake, citrus pepper pizza, breakfast eats, nonbuffet items, and more choices for scrumptious desserts.)

For those of you who don’t know yet, they’ve moved to their own building on the street going up to Giligan’s Restaurant (across from West Burnham Place Condominium – shout out to Leby, Mai, Pauk … and Ruel!)

Fire and ice at the newly renovated CbY. No shivering my joints out drinking my favorite cold drinks there now. Get a load of that layer of maple syrup in the bottom of the glass and the bacon bits on top. *sip ahh
3. Camping Date
NB: I’m going to forego an actual feature post on this resto that took over Sinamak until they put their game face on. Cool and fun idea, which I think fell short on the execution: Tents lined up in an already cramped floor area, tables in an already tight tent space (see first photo above). I went “piiins and neeeedles” like Felonius Gru, Despicable Me 2, after our meal.
The chicken menu =)))
In this camping trip, there’s no bean chili from a can, baked potatoes, s’mores, broiled (fresh caught *I’m pushing it =b) fish, as you can see from their carte du jour. It’s just chicken (albeit well cooked) – crunchy chicken, red kiss chicken, snowing cheese chicken; the chix list goes on. Boy, they sure love chicken. Here’s hoping they get better after this soft opening phase.
This was our fallback eating place in one of the times that reality came to bite us in the … belly. =)) Reminder, my foodie friends, they’ve since moved from De Leon Building to the Post Office Loop.

6. Chemistry Bar at Newtown Plaza Hotel
In case you’re not in the mood for the Elements buffet offering for breakfasts, Sunday lunches and dinners, Chemistry Bar is open at 4:00 p.m. daily.
7. Dairy Queen (DQ)
Another menu cut down. Where’d the other good stuff go? =S
8. Jjimdak Rice Burgers
(Not sure yet, if they’re going to keep the Jjimdak name or change it to something else. The “real” Jjimdak moved to Legarda, I’m told.)
circa September 2014. Chef Kevin, for sure, has come up with new additions and twists to their diner offering. (“,)
10. Rito’s (Bulalo Restaurant)
Lots more to offer. Three cheers for the quaint cafe! \m/
