L-Brothers Roasted Food Products: Notable Edibles from 2601
It’s places like these that get me to break the hiatus. =)
[If only for a little while. I’m still reeling from the loss of a year and a third’s worth of photos and other documents from the death of my hard drive, you see. (Again, if you know somebody who can at the very least retrieve files from a nondetectable hard disk, please, please send them my way, foodie friends. Otherwise, ) I have no material for the blog … as in photos to show for what we’ve since checked off our resto list.]

^^, (Roasted hanging chicken: P220 regular size, P250 jumbo. Roasted pork belly: P140 at 1/4 of a kilo)
(Back to today’s feature.) I have here, a notable edibles provider at our friendly neighbors in La Trinidad.
L-Brothers Roasted Food Products
We met Chef Reden at the Kekkan Festival last year, as one of the judges at the food contests. (“,) It sure took awhile for X+1 to have a taste of his creations. Finally, we got to the roasting shop yesterday.
Actually, we were there the day before yesterday, but everything was sold out by then. We left the store that day, just our noses filled with the aroma of roasted meats that lingered in the air of the store. =D

Roasted hanging chicken. (Well, it’s not hanging now, but chopped and resting on the foil. *tee hee)
We came with the roasted hanging chicken in mind, but then we saw porchetta (yes, that’s how I called it that time=b) was also available. We decided to get 250 grams to try, too. \m/
When we got home, we realized there was no rice cooked yet. Ah, killing wait. (Time goes by so slowly.♪ ♫) I decided to take a pinch from the roasted rolled pork (that piece encircled in red in the photo below *hihi). What flavor the lean had even without the sauce! Zing, went my tastebuds. The skin = crunch tasty. The oil that stuck to my fingers was so delicious, I couldn’t help but lick. Immediately, I kicked myself for not getting a bigger serving of the pork belly roast. =))
When we opened the thick foil wrap of the chicken, it had since let out quite an amount of its juices. We used that as an herby drizzle to the our rice. The meat was juicy and had a nice mild (bay leaf) flavor. We ate with gusto as the fowl’s roasted fragrance drove our furry lovies crazy in the killing wait for manna from table heaven to fall. ^^,
Let’s have a look at that rolled roasted pork belly again, before we go, shall we?
