While I’m a firm believer of paying for something good (There’s no such thing as a free lunch), I’ve recently learned that one can still have it all in the way of huge servings of food that’s well presented on the plate and tastes good, with restaurants that allow our money to go a long way (and these are not carinderias). It’s because of this value they give to my hard earned big sweaty wads of moolah that my flavor for months on end have been restos like Ozark Diner, Foggy Mountain Cookhouse and Sensational Blendz. \m/

Luckily for me, I must have won some kind of jackpot in the genetics/metabolism lottery that I could afford to be on a “see food diet” – a phrase coined by my sister which means “I see the food, I eat the food”.
