Baguio Deli: For Your Panic Pasalubong Shopping Needs
So here you are making like a wood nymph frolicking around the pine tree covered hills (the ones left =D) of Camp John Hay. You’re enjoying the cool air with family and friends and before you know it, it’s time to pack up.
With only a few hours left till your trip back to the reality of school/work, you realize you haven’t bought any pasalubong/treats from the City of Pines e.g. strawberry jam, peanut brittle, longganisa just to name a few.
No worries. The Baguio Deli is here … at the CJH Mile Hi Center to be exact. (“,)
The finest delicacies from this store are brought to you by Everything Nice Cake Shop and Cafe. (This was the first Everything Nice branch before they moved to a bigger establishment at the Technohub.)
If your loved ones like Baguio longganisa, you can get it here. Baguio bagnet, peanut brittle, peanut butter, strawberry preserves, vegetable pickles, pulvoron, coffee (like Baguio blend and pure Arabica) and Everything Nice cookies are available too. (No ube jam by Everything Nice, but that’s okay, the one from Good Shepherd is enough for us. *hee)
At this deli, you can even buy foodstuff deemed as pasalubong that isn’t from Baguio specifically. I’m talking about things like Balatinao mixed rice, sukang Iloko (ohhh, I swoon at the thought. Sure, I’m not a drinker but boy, do I love drinking … I mean, really drinking … vinegar ^^,), Tuguegarao peanuts (Again, it escapes me. Alcala milk candy, why do you evade me so? *huhu), etc.
In just a few minutes, you’ll have something/a lot of delicious treats from this one stop pasalubong shop packed among your belongings that you can meet your loved ones with when you get home.
(Pasalubong … one of the Tagalog words that can easily get lost in translation. According to Google, ‘upward’ is its English equivalent. ‘Bullet day, I will giant you’ moment = ‘Balang araw, maghihiganti ako’ =b)
If you’re so pressed for time, you can also grab something to eat at the Baguio Deli before you go homeward bound. Blog on that dining experience coming soon. For now, here’s their menu and a sneak peek at what we had for dinner in the midst of the finest delicacies that Baguio Deli can offer.
Till next blog post, my foodie friends! Goodbye, summer; hello to a wonderful month of June! (Whew, time flies …)

X Marks the Spot for Good Baguio Foods is a personal blog. Everything posted in this blog is PERSONAL OPINION DERIVED FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE and since TASTE can be pretty SUBJECTIVE, should NOT be taken as THE NORM or the LAW OF DINING around in the City of Pines.
Its (prosaic =b) contents are meant to help with the question “san tayo?”/where do we go? in relation to eating out in Baguio, to ENCOURAGE EXPLORING (eatsploring) and TRYING NEW THINGS offered in the City of Pines.
By all means, eat where you want to eat and eat what you want to eat. May you have a great experience with all the places you visit and may all the restaurants you go to deserve a ton of treasure chests! (“,)
