Reach for the Sky with Pizza Volante!
I’ve always had an angel of a pizza (pizza with wings/a flying pizza =D) behind me with Pizza Volante. From the moment they transformed Session Theater into their establishment (feeling nostalgic again), it’s been a superb restaurant. With my Baguio restaurant list (almost – there’s always something new to add when I think I’m really done *harhar) finished, I find myself coming back to Volante.
And why shouldn’t I when it’s really a great place to get good food; they serve pizza, pasta, breakfast, dessert and so on right in the center of town. You’ll almost always be on Session Road anyway so if you’re craving pizza or just a good meal, mosey on down to Pizza Volante.

Combo 2: Grilled boneless chicken, Corsican rice, iced tea and (Filipinized) gravy – it’s soy sauce with chopped onions. *heeee =b
A few years ago, they just had a laminated page for a menu packed with options for Italian-like cuisine. Today, they have a menu book of sorts (the font size and photos of food also had a hand in it =b), which gives you more choices for a delicious meal. If you’re not on Session Road, you can still eat at Pizza Volante. If you find yourself in the vicinity of Camp John Hay or Wright Park, you can bet that this establishment is a fantastic option (What an amazing idea opening a branch in Wright Park. Used to be that place was a desert when you wanted to eat and now, eating places are springing up there: Ketchup Community, Chef’s Home, among others \m/).
At our most recent visit, Race and I had Guiltea on the docket and so we got our food from Volante. I loved their salad with roast chicken and was super impressed with their wide offering of dressings for salad (“,). I took this opportunity to have blue cheese dressing and it was super fab! Race got a complete meal with the combo of chicken and rice. The sight of the Corsican rice on his plate brought back memories of P3 working in the same office and also of Ave …err, being in the same country. ^^, (Shout out to Ave! (“,))
What’s a visit to Pizza Volante without pizza? We got the smallest size (6 inch) Hanna pizza. (Will try the other ones with interesting names later.) I remember their pizzas going well with Tabasco sauce – they didn’t have their own hot sauce blend then. The one today packs a mean punch. *hoooooo! So much so that the flavor of the pizza is lost in the heat. Tip: Hot sauce in moderation so you can get the best of Volante’s pizza (with wings =b).

Race, the iced tea that came with the combo meal and the uber spicy Pizza Volante hot sauce. =D “Put me out, I’m on FIRE!“
And so, the return to Pizza Volante is just as I remembered it (with developments of additional dishes to choose from and new branches to visit as well). A good meal with good friends/loved ones and so it’s only right that we had a great time, too.

Ave and me in ’07 having something that looked like a breakfast meal of omelet, bread, and Corsican rice. For drinks, milk shakes *harhar

Pizza Volante Session Road Rating
Food: for all the dishes we have tried except for the salad with grilled chicken. I’m giving that a
. (“,)
Service: minus
, no tissue in sight at the Session Road branch =b
Ambiance: for the Session Road branch. It’s a place that allows me to reminisce. I enjoy sitting at the table by the windows. (Come to think of it, I never really tried eating at their extension on the upper floor.) It’s a fine time for me, watching the people walk up and down Session, crossing the street, just going about their business. (Would have to visit their branches at Ayala Technohub and Wright Park, though. ^^,)

Hello there, paul! I don’t believe they have lechon here. Maybe you’d like to distribute to them for one of their main course offerings. More power to your business! (“,)
