Coffee Shop Hop with Koffeeline, Travel Sips, & Patch

Recently, cafes have been acting like mushrooms, popping up every which location, in and around Baguio City.  Even if we’ve already covered two coffee houses and a school themed resto cafe in the past few weeks, I’m afraid we’ve still got a handful to take care of.  So for this coffeeshop ‘here, there everywhere post‘, we’re going to see if:

  1. Koffeeline Cafe
  2. Travel Sips Coffee Shop
  3. Patch Cafe

… will be marked for good food in Baguio.

(Chapter 2) Student Fare, Bakakeng: Manna Garden Cafe

I still maintain that kids these days are so lucky.  (Booming Bakakeng with impressive school facilities, man!) That being said, I wouldn’t exchange my experiences as a student to be a student today.  (Anybody can go back to school if they want, yes, but total replacement of memories, nah … shriveled hotdogs on cold rice in a baonan/lunch box with moist covers because the food was packed up when it was still hot *heehahaha Those were the days).  Let’s just go with: You’re lucky,I’m lucky, everyone’s lucky.

UPDATE: Kambingan sa Scout Barrio (formerly Tabligan’s)

Mission: Look for and dine at Crazy Chef.

That was Karla’s find which she told me about in December of last year.  She did mention in our Barn experience though that she wasn’t sure if they were still open (startup troubles, something or other. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they work-ed things out.) To Loakan, Race and I rode, almost getting to PMA. We didn’t see Crazy Chef on either side of the street, both ways, coming and going.  (My bad for not rereading Karla’s directions before embarking on the journey. =b)

We were prepared enough, however, in that we had a backup plan.  We learned a little something about how to do proper recon, from my brother. *hee

Plan B:  Tabligan Kambingan sa Scout Barrio … and what a great fallback it was. (“,)
