Baguio Greatest Hits for Good Food

Blog two for Baguio restaurants that need no introduction or any kind of commentary! =D (Although, if I couldn’t help it, I might key in some pieces of information.)

3.) Jack’s Restaurant (@ Jack’s Grand View)

scene at Jack's (Glasshouse) Restaurant

When my brother and I arrived at the scene, there was a couple and a group of medical practitioners having their lunch at Jack’s (Glasshouse) Restaurant.     I suddenly had a feeling that my ‘joking speculation’ that Jack’s Glasshouse would be serving Jack’s Restaurant food items would prove to be true.

We took a seat at the loooong table in the corner and waited for our attendant.  Et voila, she handed us Jack’s Restaurant menus.  I asked about the place being a hotel, inquired about their in house restaurant, and asked if there were other menus available.  There was none. =))

It’s not a total loss however because Jack’s does serve good food.  (Also, they have a special menu at the Grand View on particular days … Like their Facebook page, Jacks Grand View, to get notifications ^^, Will have to try any of those soon!)

We took a few minutes to pick something out.  Here we were expecting choices like pata tim … something grand (and snooty *snickers) but we had simple and staple options.  (Super windang.) =b

Hhmm, what to order, what to order? =b

Sightseeing around Jack’s Grand View … =) Thanks to our attendant (who was also the front desk clerk, it seemed) for giving us permission to wander around. =)

X marks Jack’s Restaurant (every branch in the city *hee) for good food in Baguio.  The one at Jack’s Grand View Hotel is my favorite though (“,). Jack’s, another one of Baguio’s greatest hits for restaurants. But you already knew that … it’s one of Baguio’s greatest hits for restaurants.

(These restaurants and their offering can be added to our list of must trys (for tourists), too.)
