UPDATE: Azotea Greens
Back to Azotea Greens for their “A Christmas Serenade” with The Minstrel…and also for my long time friend to get a taste of their mushroom sisig, I finally got to see what the drumsticks rice meal is all about. (In our first visit, I was thinking it’s all made of tofu.)
As per the menu, it’s a meal with two pieces of crispy breaded bean curd skin served with a side dish of vegetables and atchara. For the vegetable side dish, there were french fries and a salsa like mix of shredded cabbage, green and red peppers, and onions topped with ketchup. (Hhhhmm, Anne said it might be trying to be a sauerkraut side dish. =D) This did well with the drumsticks. The crispy breading was a little too crispy that the outside was dry when I ate it on its own.

Drumstick for takeout. The serving was huge I couldnt finish it all right there. Looks like pandesal/a bread bun, my brother said. On the inside, I can make out shredded cabbage and carrots. Is that a small piece of meat? Or maybe it’s vegemeat. =)
The mushroom sisig, just like it was with me before, was a hit with my friend. (‘shroooooms, man *heee ^^,)

The Christmas serenade-rs – a relief from the kid impromptu carolers always starting with, “AAAANG Pasko ay SumA-PIT!”=D
When the meal was over and we were serenaded enough with Christmas songs, Anne and I moved to another joint. (Azotea Greens was super packed last night. Whoo-hoo! \m/) We went over to the Ketchup Food Community to listen to another band playing (not Christmas songs =D) at Canto. We were able to give Green Pepper a try. But that’s a topic for another blog, my foodie friends. Ta-ta for now. (“,)
***Thanks so much for the night out, Anne! Thanks for joining me in my food adventure, too! It was great to see you again! Big hugs! (“,)
