Baguio Dining A La Carte – Menus, Menus, Menus

I feel like I’m leaving so much time in between posts, I wanted to give you  a few more infobites about dining around in the City of Pines for this week’s topic. Just in case you’re wondering what’s served and how much these go for from a particular resto, I’ve got a handful of menus (two pairs of hands full would be more accurate =b) from places I’ve checked off the list before 2013 ended that I haven’t gotten around to writing a post for yet.

(As usual, click on the photo for a better view and for the best view, the magnifying glass mouse pointer. If that still wouldn’t do, you can always leave a comment/send me a message and I’ll gladly take a peek in my photo archives – higher resolution ones, for that little detail that you need. Apologies for the haphazard collages … time is gold kind of pressure. *shyeew)

Baked Treats for the Holidays

Pat-a-cake, pat-a-cake, baker’s man. Bake me a cake … um, cookies, and cream puffs and … and … ^^,

We’ve got less than a month to Christmas and we know, there’s more to sweet celebratory treats besides the ones from big name brands like See’s, Cadbury, Nestle, etc.; limited edition Xmas chocosspecial goodies and more special goodies.

When you have to have a cake or two in your holiday spread or something to serve Santa on his gift delivery pit stop at your house, this is where you might want to get them. =)

Cuttie Cuppies Shoppe and the Wondrous Delights Beyond B.C., PI

Christmas is in the air!  … and we feel it in the temperature drop. \m/ (Jack Frost’s nipping at my fingers, my back … c-c-c-Cold.)

(I’ll put the verdict on my taste test for yum-yums that Cuttie Cuppies sent me in the photo captions.  It was a tough choice to pick a favorite since each had their own merits.  I’m thinking too that they’re not really in the same category to be compared to each other, so anyway, here we go. =) )

Cuttie Cuppies Shoppe Baguio See's toffee-ettes

See’s Candies toffee-ettes. While I’m not really a nut person (nutty, maybe, yes *harhar), with See’s Candies Toffee-ettes and Almond Royal, I didn’t mind the nuts. Toffee around the almonds was a delightful way to eat almonds. (to be continued on Almond Royal photo)

If you’re anything like my sister, you’d like goodies galore (ready) for the holidays; those that were unheard of before, new and special.  You’ll be glad to hear that we have a ‘supplier’ for these in Baguio City now. =D Read More…
