Intermission (“,), UPDATE(s) & Special Announcement
Whoosh!
Intermission
Did 2013 just pass by and are the holidays really over? Homigash! Annnd so we’re back to our regularly scheduled programming … ah, not quite, I’ll explain in the next few paragraphs. Before anything else, let me greet each and every one of you, my wonderful eatsploring readers, a blessed 2014. ^^,
We’ve just been renewed and given 364 new days to grab opportunities for happiness, contentment, learning, to be a blessing to others and of course, yes, to experience life gastronomically … and in every other possible sense.
UPDATE: Blog Posting Frequency
Looking back at the previous year, I saw how much of a slacker I’ve been when it came to work. =b On the other hand, I’ve been eating faster than I could write a blog post and so now, I think a resetting of priorities is in order. (I just have so much fun putting up these delectable pieces of Baguio dining scene info for you, I’d rather work on the blog than do actual work. =D Double edged sword this working from home and having my time to myself is. *snickers) I just might finish off the blog material backlog that I’ve since built up if I have a new post up for you once a week [and when I go on a day off … so I don’t have to pick one (blogging) over the other (working) *heehaha and I won’t be out checking off something new from the list first].
Special Announcement
Not only does the new year bring new beginnings and clean slates, it also brings some things to an end. Just in case, you haven’t checked our Baguio restaurant list lately, January 5th, 2014 is going to be the last day of operations for Bliss Cafe at Hotel Elizabeth. =(
So if you haven’t tried their award winning vegetarian dishes yet, now would be a good time to plan a visit (3 days to go *sniff). To those who have experienced the world of Bliss, many of our favorite dishes will be served at P95 per plate (updated info based on updated comment left on the About X page. I’m scratching my head with one hand and got my fingers crossed in the other that it’s still a buffet *hihi) on Sunday, January 5. Do drop by for some delicious healthful food, and a farewell hug from Sir Jim, Chef Shanti, and the Bliss team.
Once again, well wishes for the new year, my foodie friends! Till next week, happy Baguio food trails! (“,)
(Cue Happy Working Song from Disney’s Enchanted or Heigh Ho from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. My latest obsession, Saving Mr. Banks, I’m on a Disney high from watching it. “Well begun is half done”, says Nanny Claire quoting Aristotle. =) )

X Marks the Spot for Good Baguio Foods is a personal blog. Everything posted in this blog is PERSONAL OPINION DERIVED FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE and since TASTE can be pretty SUBJECTIVE, should NOT be taken as THE NORM or the LAW OF DINING around in the City of Pines.
Its (prosaic =b) contents are meant to help with the question “san tayo?”/where do we go? in relation to eating out in Baguio, to ENCOURAGE EXPLORING (eatsploring) and TRYING NEW THINGS offered in the City of Pines.
By all means, eat where you want to eat and eat what you want to eat. May you have a great experience with all the places you visit and may all the restaurants you go to deserve a ton of treasure chests! (“,)

Hellooo, lesleycarter! Happy 2014! Thank you so much for being there to give a star for my posts, mucho, mucho appreciated! I know you’re going to have another blast of the new year, enjoy! (“,)
Hi, we dropped by Bliss Cafe and we had fun talking with Jim.
Hello there, Aris! So nice that you got to spend some time at Bliss before it closed.
Sir Jim’s really friendly. When we were there in 2010, he gave us the delectable Bliss balls dessert for free in celebration of one of his grandkids being born. ^^, Ahh memories.
Happy new year and successful endeavors to us all and also happy (Baguio) food quest. (“,)
Happy New Year too!!! Keep blogging! 🙂
