UPDATE: C Boutique Hotel … Angels, ‘meet Charley’.

All rightie, it’s confirmed. Charley’s is the name of C Boutique Hotel’s in house restaurant/bar. (I didn’t want to assume when Jo, Race and I went exploring what this accommodation had to offer in the way of munchables. *hee)

Anyhoo, due to the inclement weather we’ve had (Typhoon Nando’s in the Philippine area of responsibility now but I hope, it will leave the soonest *fingers crossed), I (probably everyone) didn’t get out much to check any restaurant off the list or even make a repeat visit to any of the places I liked. Boy, was I in the mood for Charley’s dishes.

It was fabulous timing that Maam Gracie of SkyCable’s Events Next Door invited my fellow blogger eatsplorers, Ane and Sam, and me to an exclusive food event at C Boutique. \m/

Beyond Alcoholic Beverages and Shots, Is There Anything Else from Baguio Bars and Restos?

I don’t drink. (“,)

That being established, it doesn’t necessarily mean that bars don’t have anything to offer a foodie like me.  For one thing, I like eating pulutan/finger foods.  *yumyum (Much to my drinker friends’ chagrin *hihi  Thanks for feeding me you, guys! ^^,)  Another thing, there are a number of establishments in the city that double up as restaurants (and have succeeded \m/).  Here are the drinking places on my list (that I thought offered the prospect of good food/meals):

1.)    Dugout Sports Bar

2.)    The Gallery

3.)    Concoctions

4.)    Eat Avenue/Shot Circuit

5.)    Kalye Luna

Brothers Burger, Where Art Thou?

Apparently, Brothers Burger can be found in two locations in Baguio City now.  (“,) There’s one at the Camp John Hay Mile Hi Center and the newest branch,  in Technohub.

The first time I got to try this burger was in 2009 when I had a coworker who was a big Brothers Burger devotee.  (Shout out to Chrysler! =D) He was such a fan of their burgers (really, also of food in general) that he kept an eye on the newspapers for the Brothers Burger anniversary.  You see, it’s their regular promotion to slash 50% off the price of specific hamburgers to commemorate another successful year.
