UPDATE: Citylight Hotel Coffeeshop

Finally made good on my promise of making another visit to Citylight.  This time, it’s to experience dining at their café.  Initially, our goal was their brazo de Mercedes (which I was at the height of my craving for, when we didn’t get it at Red Cherries or Danes…or Goldilocks – that story later ^^, I’m still craving for it.)  I didn’t know that the day before I so wanted to eat brazo, Citylight posted a photo of it on their Facebook page (must mean it’s available rightie? *hihi).

Chaya Restaurant: Easy Peasy Japanesey Cookery

A lot of the time, food from other countries come out as interpretations when they’re served in the Philippines/Baguio City.  Meaning, they have a touch of something Filipino in them either in the way they’re prepared, the ingredients used as substitutes and so on.  While they still come out delectable, you might be out looking for what’s authentic.  As in the case of Japanese food, nothing beats the real deal.  Japanese cuisine is easy peasy… (dare I continue?   Read More…

It’s a new day!

Let’s pick up where we left off with bashing Baguio restaurants (that didn’t serve good food or had bad service in our visit).  So where were we?  We ended with Mile Hi Diner yesterday and today, we’re going to start with the restaurants in Pines View Hotel.  Let’s just get this over with so we can get back to the good stuff the city has to offer.  (“,)
