Ki’kan – Food Adventure at Lights Out (1st Installment)

It’s not just the lights actually, but the electricity for the city.   (It’s easier saying it in Tagalog.  “Walang ilaw covers the lights, and anything that has to do with current and voltage. =D

With the lights out for the better part of the day, I thought of going on another eating binge where a couple of restaurants could be checked off from the list.  The first stop was Ki’Kan Restobar.  (It should’ve been another Star Café visit with me and my brother making like members of old Baguio hanging out with coffee and evaporated milk as creamer, but the cafe was closed. *hihi)  Up we went on Session Road to Governor Park Road.  What I was going to have there was going to be breakfast and for my brother, it’s a snack.  He ate breakfast before we went out.  (Ahh, the men and their stomachs. \m/)

(Forced) Intermission =(

The nine-hour power interruption has a bit to do with it, but mainly because I suddenly feel under the weather…the sunny-warm, rainy-wet, dark-chilly weather. =S

I had every intention of writing a post about my Baguio food adventures today (again, because  there was a power outage, no sense being cooped up at home when I have no new books to curl up in bed with. =D)   Read More…

Intermission (“,)

…to enjoy the city (minus a few hundred/thousand tourists. *hihi  The Panagbenga Flower Festival 2013 has come to a close.  Thank you all for coming and I hope you had a fantastic time in the City of Pines! (“,)).

Goodbye for now, Campita’s tikoy (the Philippines’ very own caramel chews from Lucban, Quezon \m/), Marcia’s bibingka and everything else that came to Baguio from the lowlands for Session Road in Bloom. Till next year!
